We were asked by Nautilus Attraction Developments to create a 3D design document for the new Land of the Tigers exhibit at Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire.
This state of the art habitat provides a new home for Amur Tiger sisters Aleena and Siberia. The habitat was to provide enrichment for the tigers, along with off show and non obtrusive on show shelters, with theming based around the environmental message of logging farms in Indonesia which further threaten the existence of these beautiful creatures.
A large pool was built and we had the pleasure of creating the themed structures which would provide a natural habitat for the Tigers to explore. This is a first of it’s kind opportunity to see Tigers underwater in the UK, whilst also being the first to mix species with carp in the pool. Don’t worry! This integration has been well researched, we created safe spaces and caves for the fish to retreat to in the unlikely event the Tigers get over curious.
With Aleena and Siberia having a well balanced diet and plenty of activities in the enclosure to keep them occupied there is little risk that the aquatic residents are in any danger.
