Project: Safari Arch Sculpture
Categories: Illustration / 3D Design / Theming / Sculpture
Date: Apr-May 2014
In 2014 we were asked to come up with a design for the entrance arch to Casela’s Safari experience. We were to incorporate some of the creatures which can be seen during the safari and the structure had to be strong enough to withstand tropical cyclone weather.
A local team of artists, builders and cement workers were to join our team with the idea of passing on some knowledge and skills so that the guys could continue to develop features long after we had returned to the UK. We really enjoyed working with the guys there, trying our best to learn the local Creole language and experiencing the ways of Island life.
How very lucky we are!
